Great opportunity: we are hiring a waitress in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. The job is in a coffee shop. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner Your main tasks: • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Clear and reset tables between covers • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
