Now hiring: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Walton County, Florida. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones 2+ years on the tools preferred.
