Great opportunity: floor and wall tile fitter (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Surrey, England. You will be based on a residential construction site. Day to day you will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. £11 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
