Baker • Shanono, Kano State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a baker in Shanono, Kano State. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. On a typical shift you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; score the top of loaves before baking; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
