Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Wrexham, Wales. Your main tasks: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
