Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Platte County, Missouri. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Overtime paid at a premium rate.
