Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Whatcom County, Washington. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On the job you will handle: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials 4+ years on the tools preferred.
