Canteen cook wanted in Ikeja

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Ikeja, Lagos State. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. You will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
