Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Sumner County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Meals and transport allowance provided.
