Great opportunity: hydraulic crane operator (Washington)

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Ferry County, Washington. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
