Foundry labourer • Brass, Bayelsa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Brass, Bayelsa State. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
