Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Denton County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination $3,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
