Great opportunity: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Marion County, Oregon. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds 4+ years on the tools preferred.
