Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Rimin Gado, Kano State. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Part-time with flexible hours.
