Laundry presser — Charanchi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Charanchi, Katsina State. Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time, day shift.
