Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Maru, Zamfara State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting.
