Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Collier County, Florida. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
