Tower crane operator — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Franklin County, Illinois. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate Rotating shifts.
