Dozer operator — Akinyele

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Akinyele, Oyo State. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. You will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 4+ years on the tools preferred.
