Urgent requirement: hydraulic crane operator (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Oconee County, Georgia. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
