Foundry worker — Mangu

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Mangu, Plateau State. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
