Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in Davidson County, Tennessee. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
