Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Mitchell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Mitchell County, Kansas. You will be based on a quarry floor. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
