Aluminium TIG welder — Bath County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Bath County, Virginia. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
