Gang bricklayer — Orelope

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Orelope, Oyo State. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Meals and transport allowance provided.
