Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Dimmit County, Texas. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
