Vacancy available: we are hiring a dough maker in Ingham County, Michigan. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
