Great opportunity: hoist operator (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Blackpool, England. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts. Pay around £17 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
