Earthmoving equipment operator — Chaffee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Chaffee County, Colorado. The job is on a quarry floor. The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving What we are looking for: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels 1+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
