Cnc lathe setter — Harrison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Harrison County, Texas. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 1+ years on the tools preferred.
