Finishing presser • Monguno, Borno State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Monguno, Borno State. The job is in a garment export house. The role involves set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Meals and transport allowance provided.
