What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
