Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Reading, England. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
