Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Roberts County, Texas. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Day-to-day duties: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin Part-time with flexible hours.
