You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing.
