Hoist operator — Katcha

Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Katcha, Niger State. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
