Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Autauga County, Alabama. The job is in an open-cast quarry. The role involves backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours.
