Bakery assistant • Davis County, Utah

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Davis County, Utah. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker You will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand.
