Skimming plasterer wanted in Leon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Leon County, Florida. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Overtime paid at a premium rate.
