Head baker wanted in Kankakee County

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. The role involves score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • 2+ years' experience as a baker Pay around $10,250 per project, based on your experience.
