Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Greene County, Illinois. The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
