Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Grant County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
