Immediate opening: shuttering carpenter (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Upton County, Texas. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
