Now hiring: we are hiring a banquet server in Jackson County, Texas. The role involves explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar. Ideal candidate: • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel Six days a week, one day off.
