Tower crane operator • Ogle County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Ogle County, Illinois. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
