Join our team: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Unuimo, Imo State. You will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles ₦105,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
