Cnc setter-operator — Obi

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Obi, Benue State. You will be based in a tool room. You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
