Shakeout operator — Kancheepuram

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Kancheepuram, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal We offer ₹19,500 per month plus benefits.
