Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Patan, State of Gujarat. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. The role involves setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Ideally you have comfortable working at height on scaffolding; own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools; NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage. Full-time with occasional weekends.
