You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; record output and downtime on the production sheet; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings.
